This module is designed to give you essential skills for evaluating individuals, enabling you to identify and obtain appropriate minor adaptations, equipment, and solutions.

By completing this unit, you will be adept at offering guidance on equipment and techniques.

The overarching aim is to facilitate individuals in achieving independent and safe, secure living within their homes.

• Anyone who is assessing or supervises the assessors for equipment and minor adaptations.
• Social workers, managers, retail staff, product specialists, building contractors.

All students must undertake the pre-course reading and questionnaire before attending the course, this is part of the learning hours and must be completed to achieve accreditation.
