This module is designed to empower you with the skills to interpret and analyse information concerning an individual’s assessed needs.

By acquiring the ability to assess and prescribe major adaptations, equipment and solutions you will be better prepared to recommend suitable equipment and adaptations in alignment with your local policies.

Gaining confidence in implementing major adaptations not only enhances your proficiency in equipment prescription but also enables you to adapt and thrive in different living environments.

• Surveyors, those who assess for major adaptations, qualified OTs, senior assessment officers, OT assistants, product specialists, DFG officers, grants officers, home improvement agency staff, and building contractors.

All students must undertake the pre-course reading and questionnaire before attending the course, this is part of the learning hours and must be completed to achieve accreditation.
